Reinstalling nvidia drivers

Hi.

 

I'm in the process of completely reinstalling my graphics drivers as I believe they are the cause of my black screen on boot.

 

I've uninstalled everything to do with nvidia on my control panel, deleted registry entries, deleted nvidia folders on program files. My problem is when I restart my pc, Windows automatically downloads the generic nvidia 770 gtx drivers for me. I've unplugged my network cable, disabled automatic driver installation etc, and I have no clue why it's doing this.

 

Whats the best way to go about reinstalling drivers?

It shouldn't be a problem, Nvidia drivers will install over them
