Hi guys.

So my h100i doesn't seem to doing anything. I get a cpu fan error when turning the pc on but other than it flashing red nothing happens fans don't spin nothing. I checked and it is correctly connected to the cpu fan header on the motherboard and the two fans connected via the splitter provided and into the cpu block.

Help please.

Is the H100i conencted to the CPU Fan header? The h100i does nothing at all no flashing? I would also make sure that the power plug it's connected on is working fine Sorry I didn't read the full post, I would check the power source or you lucked out and got a faulty unit.

Cables all plugged in per the manual? Try different fan headers and sata power connectors? Still doesn't work, RMA it.

Yeah I have the sata bit connected to the psu and the other bit into the cpu fan header on the motherboard.

Yes it flashes first white then red and that is all it does.

Do you have the usb cable from the pump to a usb header plugged in?

Yep that one is plugged in.

Is the 3 pin connector in for the pump speed?

Which one is that ?

It connects to the fan header, and also if that doesn't work boot into the BIOS (if you can) and see how hot things are getting.

Yeah that is also plugged in. It's a split cable with sata and thand fan connection.

I got into bios and the temp started going up, got about 30c before I turned it off.

:c maybe check the screws? Or that the wires are connected to the pump? If all else fails, try to RMA it and let that beautiful system wait for a new cooler. It sucks the 5930k doesn't come with a stock cooler.

You and I have the same motherboard, CPU, and cooler and I was having a very similar issue as you.

When you enter the BIOS (UEFI) and you check the "CPU FAN" speed, does it show "N/A"?

If it shows "N/A", then I would try moving the H100i fan connector (the 3pin connector that is really just one wire) to the "CPU_OPT" header, enter the BIOS and see if the "CPU_OPT" speed now shows "N/A", and finally move the connector to a "CAS_FAN" header and check the BIOS again.

Basically if you always see a speed of "N/A" on whatever header you have the H100i plugged into, then you probably have a faulty H100i and you'll need to RMA it. I had this exact problem with my H100i and the replacement they sent me works normally.

Good luck.

By the way, 30C isn't anywhere near too hot, its actually quite normalish.

Thanks dude. I tried your suggestion and both the cpu and cpu opt show n/a . I did notice that for a split second it comes up with the fan rpm then it disapears.
