So, a couple of months ago I started noticing that my windows taskbar had a lot of issues, it now freezes whenever and pretty frequently, and it is making me immensely frustrated. For example, I would be watching a video and if I wanted to open steam, the taskbar would just freeze and I'd have to continuously click on it to let it refresh, and even that it would still freeze. Please help.

How many programs/what programs do you tend to have open at once?

How much RAM do you have installed in your computer?

Other PC specs?

This sounds like the typical opening of too many programs to the point that the system starts to write the cache file on the HDD instead of the system RAM.

Ram usage?
Test your hard drive?
Run "SFC /Scannow" in an Admin CMD.

Try a restore point?
