I recently got the logitech g502 and was wondering if there was any way to make a macro using buttons on the mouse for example if i click the side button i will crouch and aim using ctrl and left click

There is indeed a software from Logitech that does just that. I believe this is the right link http://support.logitech.com/en_us/article/50037?product=a0qi00000069uqwAAA. I can now use the mouse to control spotify while on my desktop, and it can automatically detect the games you start up and run your defined macros. let me know if you have more questions.
