Xeon Server Grade MB

Go to solution Solved by Suffokation,

If you want a 2011-V3 Xeon, the X99 ASUS WS-E board like, rapes face.

Depends on what you need. Asus also makes a dual socket mobo for 2011-v3. I know linus is sticking the ASrock WS board in his new server. Mainly because he needs the dual 10Gbit network connections.

I will say that the ASUS board is the first server board I've seen that you'll want a case with a windowed side panel on.

+1

And if the asus boards don't statisfy your needs, or you need something even more reliable, look into the supermicro stuff.

They have some superb stuff, never ran into any issues with them, they are pricey, but it's the premium that comes with all high end server stuff.
