how does the pc look? will the parts function together is my main question

gaming build

im not looking really wanting to change parts, i just wanna know if it will function 

and any recommendations  on a case with a optical drive port?

Everything that you have chosen is compatible, so yes, it will all work together. If I were you, I'd get an aftermarket CPU cooler, such as the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo. It should be quieter and perform better than the Intel stock cooler. There are many good case options with an optical drive bay, but I personally wouldn't even bother with an optical drive, as Windows can be installed off a USB drive. If you must, the Fractal Design Ard Midi would be my choice ;)

I would just go to microcenter and buy everything there. You're one of the lucky people to have one close to you in Madison Heights.

 

If you can, I always love the Enthoo Luxe. :D   Sexy sexy....

 

Otherwise, there are lots of good cases out there. I'm partial to Fractal Design when it comes to ATX.

 

Do you have a budget? What are you doing with your PC? What resolution screen do you have? If you game, what type of games do you play?
