BF3 error

Go to solution Solved by Dixon890,

Guys I know its been a while (was visiting some family) but I solved the problem, and another I had with my mobo a while ago that slowed a lot my PC when booting the system:

http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/228581-msi-970a-g46-slow-access-to-bios-and-more/

First of all I did a massive backup of my hardrive and tried to reinstall my system, but I had a wierd error after creating the main partitions, and If the SO managed to install, the system got somehow corrupt and were unable to start windows after installing basic apps. After a lot of rage quits, deskflips, curses to my rig, staying up to 2 AM for 5 days and seriously thinking on descending into peasantry (holy GabeN) I had the idea to take apart my whole rig and diagnose part by part. at first I tought it was the hard drive, but a couple of cristal disk tests said the oposite.after a lot of more face palms and rants later, I discovered the main issue with not just the cause of the error in the installation of the system, but the booting slowdown I had since last year:

it was the card reader that was shorted out.

after uninstalling that piece of s*** the system installed flawlesly, the boot from pushing the power button to desktop its blazing fast and Im very happy with my PC (even more than before reinstalling the system)

I want to thank you all guys for your answers and I hope this helps anybody with the same issue as mine. maybe I should do a tutorial or something :D

PD: I installed BF3 and BF4 and they are running silky smooth :)

well I know this game its kinda old but I love to play it since I totally suck at BF4 for some reason (oponents being bullet sponges <_< ) so every time I fire up BF3, I cant even finish a match because I constantly get this error:

Firma con problemas:
Nombre del evento de problema:    APPCRASH
  Nombre de la aplicación:    bf3.exe

the report is on spanish, but you get the point (I guess)

My specs are:

Fx 6300
4GB RAM

sapphire R9 280 3GB
Corsair GS 700w PSU

I overclocked the CPU a little tough (3.8 stock voltage) the GPU runs at stock speeds

ive tried everything, reinstalling the game, erasing the file bf3.afr, disabling/enabling the cloud storage, putting the game settings on medium/low...the only thing left is reinstalling windows (im kinda lazy/out of time for that now)

thanks for helping.

Joking. Anyway, not sure if you have FRAPS running. Recently. I'm also having a lot of problem running games with fraps on. Used to be able but not sure why. Once I uninstall fraps, everything is back to working.

Have you tried reinstalling Origin?

Battlefield 4 works normally so I assume is another thing beside origin; but I should try that.
