would antennas help?

so i live near an airport which shortens the range of pretty much any appliance that we use. i was thinking about getting better antennas for my router and pc to get the full power of my wifi. would getting better antennas make the internet faster (we pay for 75mbps and i only get about 10)?

Stronger WiFi strength won't help you get better speeds if you're Wifi strength is already very strong in any part of your house. 

But if You tend to use your wifi on areas where Wifi strength is very weak better antennas will help boost WiFi strength and give jumps in speeds.

 

You might also be Confused, If you're paying for 75Mbps(Megabits) what you would get is around ~9MBps(MegaBytes) the b makes a difference.

my wifi speed gets worse the further you go from it, i get better speeds when i am close to it.

 

also im not confused, i know and i was just trying to illustrate the difference in speeds
