Check_Machine_Error when adding HDD/SSD Win8.1

Hey all,

 

So I recently added some water cooling to my computer which meant I had to add 10 more fans, a D5 Vario pump and a fan hub.

 

I unplug all HDD/SDD from my machine when I install win 8.1.  Windows 8.1 loaded fine. I turned off the machine and connected my hard drives and boom Check_Machine_Error.   After connecting the HDDs/SSDs one at a time, I found i could add 2 of four before i got this message again.

 

So I'm thinking I've hit my limit on power for the PSU. 

 

I have a corsair AX 860i.  I have ordered a AX 1200i but I wanted to know what you all thought if this is indeed my problem or if there is something else as I never had any issue until I added the extra fans/pump.  Here are my specs.

 

PSU - Corsair AX 860i

MB - Asus X99 Rampage Extreme

CPU - Intel I7 - 5930k

RAM - Corsair Dominator Platinum 2800Mhz 4x4GB

2 x GPU - Asus GTX 980 Poseidon

Boot disk - Samsung xp941 M.2 256GB

2 X SSD - Samsung Pro 850 256 GB (raid)

1 x SSD - Samsung Pro 850 512 GB

1 X HDD - Western Digital Black 4 TB

13 x - Corsair SP 140 LED Fans

Swiftech Dario V Pump

1 X - Asus DVD/BR ROM

 

I went on a couple of sites to check how many watts I would need and I got everythign from 700-830W.  I've checked my power consumption using the Corsair LInk it never seems I'm getting close to using 700W of power, but this is the only think I can think of at this point as it always happens when I'm trying to add all my HDD/SSD.

 

Any other thoughts?
