So, in the next couple months I will be building my first Rig, @1500€ bidget including monitor KB and mouse and this is what I have so far

CPU: INTEL Core i5-4690K

MB:GIGABYTE GA-Z97P-D3

RAM:  Crucial Ballistix Sport  2x8 gb 1600Mhz

GPU: MSI GTX 980

PSU: CX430 80 PLUS Bronze

Case: Corsair carbide 200R

Display: ASUS VE247H

So, what I need help is in the motherboard, is it good? Should i replace it?

I was also thinking in changing the CPU to a i7 4790K to make it more "future proof" and go down to a 970, I can easily upgrade a GPU later but if the socket changes I can't swap CPU, would love to know your input.

Is the case good for 1st time builds? Enough airflow or need to get more fans?

Know ZERO of displays, don't want anything very fancy and I though this one was good.

RAM was the cheapest I saw on my store as 16gb 1600mhz go.

And please shoot away keyboard+mouses, I will probably just buy the ones that fit in the budget and please my eyes

Thanks to everybody with patience to read all of this and sorry for any errors

EDIT: forgot about the storage, 250gb 850EVO+2TB WD green

600+ PSU

Z97 is a very nice mobo

Bullshjt. Ignore those guys. A single 980 could be handled by a 430w PSU. The thing is, 430 only has 1 PCIe connector, so you'd need a molex to 8-pin adapter.

Even so, get a 650W psu, just for the sake of being able to do SLI. If you are sure you won't ever do it, just stick with a 500w one.

Um kinda rude? I'm suggesting 600+ just to be safe...

Thanks for the input so fa, I didn't know it only has one connection, I will get 500 or 600 just to dont have to buy the molex to pcie adapter, what about the dilema on top, should i stick with the i5 and the 980 or swap for i7 with 970 for easier upgrade later?
