I am looking at getting some pc speakers that would be for music.

Not looking to high end suff.

Does anyone have an recommendations for solid speakers for the price?

I don't have a budget just looking into whats out there and how much money would be worth putting into them.

Logitech 5.1, amazing. VERY LOUD Subwoofer, it's a monster.

Best buy 50$

Here's the amazon link incase

Perfect setup for racing or shooters. Shame most audio / videos don't support 5.1 though.

So I'm assuming you have it? And would I need a sound card? Looking at the ports that are on the sub to connect the other speakers it has more then my motherboard has.

I do have it, no sound card needed, and there's 3 plugs that connect to the mobo, ones light green, ones light orange, other is black, and it's all wired btw don't be fooled. I thought it was wireless. THE CABLES ARE REAL! But they're very long and easy to manage.

Well I am running a crappy low end motherboard at the moment and on the back is only Red, green, blue. And I need to have my headset plugged in while gaming so I might get a sound card. I am looking at getting into music stuff anyway so it might be a useful thing.

When you say you're looking at "getting into music stuff" what, exactly, do you mean?  If you mean production and recording, the results are going to change dramatically in quality and price.  If you mean for listening, it won't be as wild.  Specifics would help the forum to guide you to a "do it right the first time" type of purchase.
