R9 290/x prices

Would the prices of the r9 290/x drop when the new amd r9 300 series comes out?

I want to upgrade from my msi r9 270x 2gb and the r9 290/x is what I would want 

Current pc specs

Msi Gaming 7

i5 4690k

Msi r9 270x 2gb

8gb ram 

evga supernova 750w g1

I have made a thread about 290x and prices and they have been going up not down and probably not

the rebranded edtion will probably be cheaper though

ergo the 780/ti went UP in price

If it gets rebranded to 380/X then no not really (like 79x0 and 280/x), but if the whole 300 series lineup is "new" then yes 290/X prices will drop
