COD vs Battlefield

Go with Hardline. COD:AW has weird mouse acceleration problems and hackers that are not being dealt with. Hardline has its issues but it's much more enjoyable and diverse.

I prefer battlefield... but i kinda miss the old ww2 first person shooters if they could make a new one with the new mechanics and graphics that would be the best, I'm getting tired of the "modern" war from both titles

And of course there is this saying: "CoD is for kids, BF is for boys, ARMA is for men."

I'd play BF for a game, Arma for a simulation.

I haven't played COD: AW, but I've never found a Call of Duty game that has gunplay mechanics to compare to any of the Battlefield games stretching back to at least Bad Company 2. COD guns (in the ones I've played) feel weak, light, and arcade-y without the benefits of actually being an arcade shooter. The audio is lacking, recoil is virtually non-existent, and weapons are hitscan.

 

I personally think that, despite all of it's other very glaring flaws, Hardline has some of the best-feeling guns I've used in any modern military shooter.

Battlefield in general and to be more specific, Hardline > AW. AW took MW3's spot as my most hated CoD followed by Spooky ghost.
