450D and Shield?

I recently got the Canon 450D and started to use the EOS Utility 2 on my PC to view live and preview images, i recently was searching the play store and found multiple DSLR remotes, was wondering if anyone knows if this camera will work (I have a USB host to micro connector and then the cable for the camera (Mini))
