5.1 Speakers

Hi, I got these 5.1 Surround sound speakers, I know they are setup correct and they work because when I run the surround test in the sound card config it works and the sound moves around. Otherwise when I use something else that uses sound it only works with the 2 larger speakers and the sub-woofer. Thanks,

it the program able to use 5.1?

5.1 movies

games in 5.1 will do it

youtube will not.

music will not

some programs can

some can not

 

thiers loops holes to make it work everywhere, but its gettho, and makes actull 5.1 content shitty. sooo

Technically there are quite a few 5.1 mixed albums out there. This answer pretty much covers it though.

silly child, youtube doesn't supports 5.1 for normal videos, only youtube movies

they called 5.1 tests, because they were testing at the time of upload if it supported it yet.

itunes does, but it doesn't matter if the song is 2.0 ir will play 2.0 if the song is 5.1 is will play 5.1

windows media player is too, but the song it self has too to

Don't know about Dubstep, all I know is a few Pink Floyd albums (and albums by similar artists) have been 5.1 mixed.
