So currently I am using some emachine cheap keyboard that came free with an old prebuilt I have from them. I am looking to upgrade to a mechanical keyboard. I have been looking and cant seem to find a keyboard that is good for me. I am thinking of going with a blue switch, sadly I can't use any since I have no small computer shops around me to test out a keyboard in, but I have basically read through as many articles and watched as many videos as I can and blue seems to be best for me (I want a high activation force and a nice feedback.

What I am looking for in a keyboard:

Blue Switches

Long backspace, enter, and shift

Numberpad

Arrows different from numberpad (not included on the 5, 1, 2, 3, keys)

Macros would be a plus but are not really required

Disable windows key function

Backlights are not needed

Thanks!

I don't know a whole lot of keyboards that allow you to disable the Windows key other than the Blackwidow/Blackwidow 2013. I'd recommend a keyboard with macro keys too, they really come in handy

I have seen a decent amount of them, but sometimes it is in the software for the keyboard, which would be ok

The only two I know of that fit that description are the cm storm trigger: http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/product.php?product_id=3089&product_name=CM%20Storm%20Trigger

and the razer blackwidow 2013. I would recommend the storm because of how TERRIBLE razer synapse is.

I'm using macro keys right now, Synapse isn't bad.

The (original) Blackwidow also fits these requirements, as well as the Blackwidow Ultimate and Blackwidow Ultimate 2013.

I use synapse for my deathadder and it just shuts down every few hours and I normally use 800 dpi and when it shuts off it goes up to 1800 and it can be really really annoying. Also its supposed to be able to switch dpi setting and macro settings when you start certain linked programs. It has never been able to change any of the settings for me automatically like its supposed to.

Sounds like a glitch and not necessarily the software's fault itself.

You might wanna wait for a K70 with blue switches? Does have backlight but fits the requirements for the rest although it doesn't have marco keys. And is available in many different lay outs depending on which you prefer.
