Unlocked bootloader Moto G 1st gen won't update to lolipop

I am having some problems with the update to lollipop. My moto g (1st gen) will download and seem to install it but when it boots up it says update unsuccessful.I have the bootloader unlocked but on stock andriod and no superuser.

Have you done anything to modify system files? Be it removing bloat or anything? If not i'd say your best bet is just to try and relock your bootloader and see if that helps. If not you might need to RSD back to stock before the update.
