Well if all you are going for is the cheapest you can find then I see nothing wrong with that especially if you plan to replace it in a year. I did this also with a cheap 32" Dynex as I needed a second TV at a low price tag.

Do you wan't 3D ? if so pasive or active ?

 

active = full hd in 3D

 

pasive = one eye 1920x540 other eye 960x1080

 

active = battery's bit more expansive tough sony has quite cheap active glasses.

pasive is cheap glasses

im only having it for a year  dont want anything fancy il get a smart tv late next year
