I'm looking for the ultimate Gaming/Recording/Rendering PC, for under $2500 Canadian, including Monitors and other peripherals, i.e. Mouse and keyboard (Preferably Mechanical with Cherry MX Browns). This is what I have right now, but it goes quite a bit over budget, I'm just tempted to completely remove one of the monitors, but i'd rather keep all three, so i'm just looking for suggestions, tips, advice, and frankly a little bit of help choosing my parts.

Are you actually doing a ton of serious 3D rendering and XFX? If not lose the i7 and you should be within your budget.

Im so patriotic, I piss red white and blue. My doctor told me it was pancreatic cancer, I told him to SHUT HIS COMMIE MOUTH.

I'm not planning on heavily rendering, but it will be 30-40 minute clips once or twice a day, which may not justify the 6 core, but it's only 30 bucks more or so for 6 cores compared to 4, so I think it's worth it, yanno, you got to have the future proofing.

1. cheaper cooler 212 evo is enough

2. cheaper monitors a 22" 1080p ips is $140

3. a 290x is $380

1) The Hyper 212 evo won't be enough for the heavy overclocking I'm planning on doing,

2) I'd rather not get such a small monitor, I might switch the 24 inch ones to 22 inch ones, but I need my 24 inch, 144 hz one for my main gaming and such

3) That is true, but I've had relatively awful experiences with AMD in the past, but I may switch if it offers higher performance, I haven't done a ridiculous amount of looking up benchmarks.

I've heard that it's a significant bonus from going to an i5 to an i7 in terms of the video rendering that I'll be doing, plus, if I buy the 5820k now, I won't have to upgrade nearly as quickly, and theoretically, my CPU will only get better as games adapt to multithreading and having more cores.

290x = 970 in gaming

290x > 970 in openCL

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.
