New CPU does weird

Heey guys,

 

so i upgraded my cpy from a intel celeron g1820 to a intel i5 4460(my motherboard is a msi h81m p33), but now when i want to restart my pc it just doesnt want to start again, my screen turns black but my pc keeps running like it wants to start again but just cant :S

Already did that ;)

Did you update it and test it before upgrading the CPU? Maybe the update screwed up

this happened to me once when going from a fx8350 to a fx9590 and i had to reset the bios to defualts. i also found that turning off fast boot when not using secure boot helps to prevent this issue. that was a problem i had with my laptop when it did the same thing.
