Hello, i am trying to install ubuntu on my Dell Inspiron 3521, but it seems my BIOS dosent have an option to boot from a usb or CDrom in uefi mode. in legacy boot mode its does, but when i select to boot from a usb in a legacy boot mode it takes me to some DOS crap. is there anyway you can help me install ubuntu on my dell inspiron 3521? Thanks!

Can you send a picture or describe it more? It may be part of the Linux installation. I don't entirely recall as last time I installed Ubuntu on something was months ago but it could be the Linux terminal.

Doesn't look Linux related. It looks to me like Dell doesn't want you tampering (as it says NO WARRANTY). Try typing "help". It is the usual DOS command to view all possible commands.

i attempted this earlier but it said bad command or not a file something like that

Uhhhhh *clears throat* looks like I just got it installed by using the install disc I burned as a dvd and not as a usb thanks though ! Don't go et I might need help with Linux commands :3

I am no expert, but I'll try to help as much as I can. Make sure you use the correct burning tool for either storage method.
