So I am upgrading my computer this month. I have got a GFX card already and have some extra cash to spend I was wondering if I should add a 4GB RAM stick (I have only 4 Gigs so) or should I get a Samsung 850 EVO 120GB SSD. I will be buying what I don't buy this month, after 6-7 months or so. I didn't know an appropriate sub-forum for this , so I am sorry.

The SSD would be a greater benefit

Depends what you're doing really. If you run out of RAM it will hurt performance much more than the lack of an SSD does.

THIS.

It really all depends on if you need the extra ram or not. I personally wouldn't be able to live on 4 gigs, but you very well may only need 2 or 3 gigs to get stuff done.

More RAM easily. The only game I have played that makes me want an SSD is Dragon Age Inquisition with its long load times. But 4GB of RAM sucks even for normal desktop usage if I open up a few youtube videos in Chrome, for example.

SSD will have a much larger impact on system performance. You won't notice the difference between 4GB and 8GB other than how much crap you can have open at one time. I would throw in a few more dollars to get at least a 250 GB as 120 GB will get chewed up quite fast. There are cheaper alternatives as well as the 250GB BX100 is $99.

Just run task manager in the corner or something, you'll definitely see a difference if you use a SSD.

Price wise I would get ram and an SSD later on.
