Sata heavy power supply

My father is looking for a power supply for a secondary home server. He currently has only 3 sata conectors which has made him have to have part of his raid on external drives..

No idea what wattage is needed. It is a basic system so 24 pin and 8 pin plus sata are the only ones needed.

I am not sure exactly, and can't ask him as this is going to be a gift I would guess 6+ but 8+ would be great.

 

Prettymuch any PSU has plenty of SATA connectors and if you need more there's always molex adaptors...

Well reason I ask is his current one is lacking and mine only has 4 yet I just bought mine a year ago.

 

my EVGA 750B2 can support 9+ not counting ones for an adapter...

You mean G2?
