This is my first post here ! :)

I´ve been thinking of changing my current audio settup for quite a while now.

My Rig: i5 3570k 4,6 ghz,  gtx 680, asus sabertooth z77. 8gbs of Ram and running windows 8.1

for audio I used my Logitech g35s until now, but I think there are better solutions then the external surround sound card this headphones bring with them.

I use my Headphones/ Headphones for  60% gaming and 40% youtube and music.

Whats important for me is that I can hear steps very good in games like cs:go and battlefield.

On my radar are either the Hyper X cloud 2 ( which again brings external surround sound with the help of an USB dongle),

or any other good headset/phones that bring great locationsounds ( I would buy a sound card if necessary )

I also have ath m50s which I LOVE for music.

My budget would be 100-200€

I am looking forward to replies and tips from you guys!  If you need any more info let me know.

Update: I researched some more and I need help finding out if I can install, say an Asus xonar dx (7.1) on my motherboard.

Im also really interested in the Sennheiser G4me one now, hence the soundcard(might aswell go for the zero with a soundcard right?)

Try Razer Surround with your M50's.

Just tried it out for 30 minutes with cs go and bf3. CS:GO still missed the wide sound stage im so familiar from 7.1 with and bf3 even gave me wrong directions...   What do you think about the soundcard that comes with the Hyper X cloud II?
