EFI Shell Version 2.31

-i7 4790k(incase i ever want to OC).

-Some quite cheap cpu cooler(Zalman CNPS8000B) just because there was nothing else available but I've ordered Corsair h80i and it should arrive soon..

-MSI z97-G45 Gaming motherboard.

-Asus GTX 970 Strix.

-HyperX beast 2400Mhz 2x8GB.

-Samsung 850 EVO 250GB.

-2TB HDD. 

-Corsair H850i psu. 

-H440 Razer edition.

-Windows 8.1. 

 

EFI Shell Version 2.31 screen appeared when turning the pc on..

Now it works again after doing a default restore in the BIOS, but thats weird because i didn't change any setting in the BIOS except the RAM speeds from default 1600 the motherboard gives to the original 2400 of the RAM sticks I got. 

Its a new build, worked fine for a day and then after going to sleep and turning the pc off, coming back in the morning to this error..

 

Why did it happen and how to prevent it from happening againn?
