My question is will GTA V run decent/well on my pc?

 

Specs are as follows-

 

AMD FX 8320

HD 7970 Double dissipation 3GB

2TB HDD

128GB SSD

Windows 7 64bit

Awesome, just wanted to know since when I bought the parts to build this rig I was told it would run BF4 on Ultra graphics higher than 60fps. Never seen that sweet 60 after 300hrs of gameplay.

To be honest, you would have benefited from an Intel platform, but that's all in the past, I guess. BF4 is a really hard game to run, what resolution are you running at? It's not going to make 60 all the time, but it will certainly be buttery.

Yea I wish I bought a 4670k or something. I currently run at 1920x1080 on medium settings, on most maps I average 40fps.

Sounds about right, though that's probably down to the 8320 rather than the 7970.

W-what. I run BF4 on Ultra 1080p (with no AA) and I average something like 80fps on almost every map. And you technically have a better gpu than me (albeit mine is OCed to 1150Mhz core clock.) There shouldn't be such a large gap, even though BF4 is quite cpu intensive.

It's my CPU, the 8320 isn't the best especially for games like battlefield. If I had an Intel CPU like a 4670 or 4770 it would run a hell of a lot smoother

Tbh, no one can say for sure before the game is out.

No one knows how the game runs.

Even if there is those requirements..
