Moniter choice?

I am build a new pc with a 970 and I want a single fast gaming moniter not 4k only 1440p or 1080p not out of the way expensive either.

550$ freesync 34" 21:9, IPS, 75hz 2560x1080 - lg 34um67

or 

1000+$ gsync 34" 21:9, IPS, 144hz, 3440x1440 - acer xr341ck

 

i wouldnt pick anything else if i wanted to truly lose myself in the games....

 

freesync/gsync is a must...  but you say you dont want expensive, and then you say you will have a 970... so i dunno what to say really

without a budget we can't really give you options

 

I myself just ordered the acer g257hu from amazon and I also have a gtx 970

 

with a single 970 you are basically making the decision between 1080 144hz or 1440p 60hz
