Budget Gaming PC

I'm minutes away from ordering parts. If someone can look over the build one more time that would be awesome. I'm going to be using to play games at 900p (nothing demanding such as bf4 crisis far cry ect). Reason I went with i5 4440 versus a cheaper cpu is because I like to play DayZ and its currently CPU bound. Thank you

Looks pretty solid honestly but do you really need WiFi?

Also, is an R7 265 not slightly faster than the 750 Ti? Unless you need Nvidia for specific titles of course.

Solid build. That GPU can handle games like BF4 on reasonable settings as well.

yes it would be a pain in the ass to find a way to run a cord from my modem/router to my room.

I'm preeeetty damn sure the 265 is faster than the 260x and also edges out the 750 Ti in most scenarios, although this might have been on older drivers:

Right below the graph you can click 'Volgende Pagina' to go to the next page and see some gaming benchies.

Nice build, but forget the aftermarket cooler (stock is fine) and go with an R9 270 instead. The R9 270 usually outperforms the GTX 750 Ti pretty significantly even in games that show a strong Nvidia bias.

Between the CPU and Motherboard, you are spending about $250.  For that price, over at Microcenter's webstore, you can pick up an i5-4690k 3.5Ghz CPU + MSI Z97 PRO4 LGA 1150 Mobo bundle.  If you have a local Microcenter near you, I would try to go in store as sometimes they will give you a discount on the memory if you buy a CPU/MOBO bundle.

Also, I would not spend a dime on the OS.   Microsoft will let you download the Windows 10 upgrade for free this summer regardless of whether you have a registered/genuine copy of windows 7 or 8.  They practically don't care if it's pirated or not. So if you can "get by" till then, do it.  Or use SteamOS.  Or look for a PC lying around that has a windows 7/8 sticker on the side, copy it and download the installation ISO from MS's website and install it.

Yes i guess GTX 750 won't be good enough

And MSI R9 270X is a little bit costly but offers better performance

You can cut down the aftermarket cooler price, and wifi too if u want,

Also consider MSI H97 pc mate

About the samne price of B85
