i dont know why but i laughed really hard at ramy lol. But anyway did you recently purchase the ram? Can you try putting it another slot on the motherboard? Do you have different ddr3 ram you could use to test if maybe its the motherboards problem. Also this should be in the support section.

not a problem... more like a feature (not even joking lol) windows will cache the memory all the time to make the program you use a lot startup faster and etc... but it will free the memory once you really really need it...

also if you have a lot of background programs running that also might be the cause...

i wouldnt worry about it if i were you as long as it doesn't cause any "real" problem like stuttering/lags/freezes/bsod and the speed of ram is correct... then everything is dandy

EDIT: in here it is well explained i guess... http://www.sevenforums.com/general-discussion/52731-can-someone-please-explain-cached-memory.html  sry couldnt find better explanation but like I said above.. no worries

wait does your PC detect all 8gb of ram? or only the 2.66gb.

I was under the impression that his pc was only detecting 2.66gb. Guess im wrong ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

oh crap you're completely right... (ill go sleep after this one lol...)

soz OP!!!! now here is what you should do..

step1 = check if your computer really detects the ram... easiest way is startmenu -> right click on my computer -> properties and there should be somewhere on how much the computer thinks you have ram... if thats ok then next step if not then post the result and someone will help you surely

step2 = check your pagefile here is a good info link http://lifehacker.com/5426041/understanding-the-windows-pagefile-and-why-you-shouldnt-disable-it

now if even that is ok... then all i can image is that "Tera Online" does not need that much of a ram... and just so know increasing the ram or speeding it up have little to no effect to games.. you should check other factors for bottleneck in Tera Online. and to my understanding that game is really cpu demanding... so try to see if it is cpu that is bottlenecking you
