H440 Owners

Hi folks

 

So I was thinking about getting a H440 case at the end of the month.

 

Id like some opinions from anyway running an SLI config in this case. How are your temps?

 

I have two 980's to go in there so just checking.

CPU - i7 8700K / Motherboard - ROG Strix Z370 E/ RAM - 32GB Cosair Vengeance DDR / GPU  - GTX 1080ti - EVGA FTW3 / PSU - Seasonic Snow Silent 750W / Cooling - Cryorig H7 Monitor - Acer X34 Predator / Sound - Corsair Void - Case - Meshify C

I just bought 2 gtx 970's to go into the case but overall now it is quite and plenty of fan support.

The H440's not a large case, so open style coolers in SLI will get pretty toasty. It will be fine, so long as you have good airflow. 

 

The 980 doesn't produce a huge amount of heat, so even if the temps do rise a bit, it should still be well within the thermal limits.

I've only got a single card, but the temps should be fine, there are 3 fans on the front intake that are just pushing all the air you would need, and one preinstalled fan on the back.
It's even better if you remove all the HDD bays.

HDD cases will definitely be removed. I have 2 Jetstream 980's so hopefully will be ok.

 

I just love how neat the case can look.

Your temps will be fine. I use two 780tis (reference) in my H440 (I do have pretty good airflow tho thanks to my Be quiet! Silent Wings 2s.) and I'm getting about 70 degrees on both cards with a 1300 mhz boost clock and a 105% powertarget. It's quite the lovley case but I'll have to get a Phankteks Enthoo Luxe soon. (Cause I'm going to back watercooling and the H440 just isn't very pratical when it comes to that.) 

My Pc: Cpu: I7 4790k @ 4,8 Ghz @1,25 volts, Motherboard: Maximus VII Formula, Graphicscard: 2x Titan X @1,4 at stock voltage (soon to be replaced), Ram: 32 gb Corsair Dominator Platinum 2133 Cl 9, SSD: 2x 850 Pro 1 Tb in Raid 0, 2x Samsung 840 Evo 1 tb raid 1,, PSU: Corsair HXi Series 1000W 80+ Platinum, Case: H440. Soon to be watercooled again, maybe, probably, the Titans are too loud.
