hello folks, having trouble installing Lubuntu on an older pc (Intel D 805, 1 gb of ram), I downloaded Lubuntu from the official site and used infrarecorder to burn the iso on to a disc. The disc boots fine but when I go to install I get the error message "unable to find a medium containing a live file system, " now I'm a bit of a noob so forgive my ignorance, but that sounds to me like I created the disc wrong, but as far as I can tell it's burned correctly. When I read the disc it displays all the files properly. Any advice would be much appreciated. In the meantime I'm going to try to make a USB boot drive and see if that works.

If not , try downloading from this site and install it..

use md5 to confirm the hash to ensure the download was not corrupted.
