Parts wise :) Also Im guessing by the 512GB SSD that you know that the WD Red should be storage only, not for games.

Reds are around 5400rpm You are looking at slow load speeds and and if the game is accessing the drive during a live game you can experience stutter.

Like what Frankie said, the red is primarily used as a nas drive. It's slower than some of the other drives and more expensive since it's more reliable. I suggest grabbing a 1 TB WD Blue drive instead. It's a good mix between performance and reliability. Or you could grab a bigger WD Black drive, they're faster than the Blue drives but they're a bit more audible.

Afaik both Black and Blue run at 7200rpm which is fine for gaming :) I agree with the WD Black/Blue 7200rpm solution. Thing is Blue stops at 1TB but the Black can be had in a 2TB and more.

Yeah, you're correct. The Black series have a bigger cache than the blue in general until you get to about 1 TB for the Blue. That's when you have the option for 64 mb cache instead of 32. Generally the Blue is for simple everyday use and the Black is meant for heavier workloads. The Black has faster read/write than the Blue too. #BLUE4LIFE

If you plan on SLI then look for an EVGA Supernova G2 750W or SuperFlower Leadex Gold 750W.

If you only plan on running a single card then the XFX XTR 550W is very good.
