Hello i just built my first gaming rig and im downloading drivers as i speak and i was just wondering why there are so many driver files for my motherboard. Is there just one package installer for my Asus Z97-C. here is the drivers link http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&p=1&s=45&m=Z97-C&os=&hashedid=F5xQH7Sx4tMjmd1v. i guess what im asking is do i have to download all these files? If i posted this in the wrong section im sorry!

yeah but which ones do i need when i read them it has differnt titles and some are just updates of the previous versons 

 

You can just grab the first one from the top. It's not like you have to instal the first one then second, etc. The newest updates already has the previous versions in the driver. 

 

Also what OS you are using, I go through the drivers and look :)

Im running windows 7 64 bit . thanks for the help im just questioning if i really need to download the SATA, Hotfix, and Qualified list drivers. Do i really need those?

You don't need any from the Hotfix tab because that's registration programs. Qualified Vendor List those are just PDFs with informations = doesn't matter. And yup download the SATA drivers :) (You would be probably fine without them but just to be safe)
