PC stops outputting display

Problem solved. Apparently it was just a java error. After updating, it resolved and hasn't happened again.

Hi,

Yesterday, my PC began to stutter and slow down, followed by "No Signal" on my monitor. I have to restart it to get the display back. This happened 3 more times in the same day. The PC is still on and running with no signs of overheating, and I cannot figure out the problem for the life of me.

All I'm doing is watching YouTube/Netflix and browsing the web.

My specs:

Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5 GHz

Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler

ASUS GTX 770 DirectCU II 2GB GDDR5

Corsair CX600 600 Watt Power Supply

8 GB Crucial Ballistix Sport RAM (Very Low Profile, 8GBx1)

WD Black 1TB Hard Drive

MSI B85M-G43 Micro-ATX Motherboard

Temps (Skype + Google Chrome Open):

CPU - 25-30 C (Core Temp)

GPU - 29-32 C (ASUS GPU Monitor)

You need a stronger power supply

It is RAM issue I presume. Try plugging the stick in another channel or changing RAM with another one.

Single NVIDIA card too much for a 600W PSU?  I wouldn't think so.

Seems like something to do with your RAM or graphics card error. Have you updated your drivers for your GPU?

By restart it, I presume you mean the computer?

Have you tried different display ports?

Have you tested your GPU?

Are all of your drivers up to date?

Have you tried different monitors?

Does thi happen in any other situation than web browsing?

Yeah didn't think so.

A R9 290 consumes more power than a GTX 770 and manages to pull a meager 500~ Watts from the outlet. And thats with an overclocked 4690K.

Next time please don't say anything when you're not sure.
