Best Environmental Audio Solution

So far I've tried Dolby Headphone and Razer Surround, and I've got to say that Razer's implementation needs some work. Firing a weapon from the hip in Arma 3 sounds very muffled and distanced, whereas with Dolby Headphone it's more striking and immersive, although I'm not sure if it's perfected either. I still prefer no environmental software for headphones that don't need it, but Dolby Headphone is great for those that do.

No surround sound in a headset will sound perfect virtual or real. I use a logitech G930 and the surround sound is practically the same as stereo so I would say it also needs a little work.
