Well if you're buying a Titan X you probably won't have bad hardware anyway, so a PSU to support it should be the only requirement.

I had a friend who would buy the latest GPU as soon as it came out and never touched the other parts of his computer at one point he was still using a AMD 3000+ Black Edition with a top of the line GPU... and came to me crying that he wasnt seeing improvements in his FPS after he just bought a new GPU....   i had a heart to heart with the guy. let him down easy lol.

so there is people out there who do that just saying xD

There's no particular requirements, other than the PSU having enough power. I'd recommend at least a 4690K and decent Z97 board with it though. 

 

As long as you have a PCIE 3.0 slot and at least a 430W PSU, it'll work.

I have an I5 4690 and a gigabyte motherboard i think it was Dual Durable and i think i have ether 500w or 650w
