I have a gtx 660ti, and at idle my GPU stays at 0.987 volts.  If I adjust the millivolts down -100mv in MSI Afterburner the voltage decreases to 0.912 for 5 seconds and then comes back to 0.987 volts and stays there.   If I adjust the millivolts up +100mv in MSI Afterburner the voltage increases to 1.087 for 5 seconds and then comes back to 0.987 volts and stays there.  While doing a benchmark or playing a video game the voltage stays at 1.175 volts.  If I try doing the same as before it will drop a little bit for an instant and then go back to 1.175 volts.  I've tried this with both constant voltage on and off and I get the same results.

So, if the voltage is just going to go back to where it wants to be no matter what, then what is the point of having a voltage slider in MSI Afterburner?  Do all newer cards do this?  What the hell is going on?
