I bought a g13 thinking I would be using it more for games, but it seems like I have been using it more for other programs.

I do have a few questions though. Is there anyway to use the g13 joystick and mouse and have it emulate a left and right analog stick or just use the joystick as a proper analog stick (hate having it emulate w,a,s,d).?

Also, is there a place to download more applets for the g13?

Yes. Joystick is direct input I believe and it doesn't seem to be available for use in a lot of games.

As has been stated, you have the option to assign key strokes to each direction on the G13, but also assign it as an analog joystick to get the full functionality from it.

The main problem you will face is finding PC games that support analog inputs.

i noticed that. Why don't more games support xinput? Guess everyone whos using the g13 have something completely different than movement mapped to the joystick?

I only use left and right as strafe for most games. The rest of the directions are unmapped. :(

Assume you manually map it for A,D? It sucks that games cant use it for actual analog input.

Yeah. I actually put the G13 away for a while (back using it again) as I got bored having to map the keys via the logitech software for each game. Pretty sure the logitech forum has some game profiles you can download but I found importing and then altering them to be more hassle then mapping from a clean layout.

Thats what I was afraid of. I've only had it for a few days and I like it, but binding it for every game is killing me.
