Dota/HoTS crashing pc?

Hey so i've very recently finally got into playing mobas D:

 

I've only been playing Dota 2 and HoTS and I've already had both of them crash on me.

 

Keep in mind I played my first Dota game on Friday and HoTS game yesterday.

 

They have both crashed already saying I don't have enough memory.

 

I find this extremely weird as I have 8gb of ram and all i had open is my chrome

 

I've played a lot of StarCraft 2 and i've never had this happen to me.

 

(I imagine starcraft is about the same to run as these games, maybe even harder in the late game)

 

I've played SC2 with Farcry 3 running in the background and all my chrome tabs before and I've never had any memory issues like this.

 

Is crashing just something i'll have to get used to with mobas or is something wrong?
