Hey Guys,

i'm searching for a mb for my i5-4690K and i don't really know the Benefit of an ATX board. I will use only one GPU and maybe a soundcard but thats it! So i could go for a mATX Board?

exept more pci-e slots. not much. sometimes better overclocking capabilities. but there are some really great matx boards too. if you want a small form factor, go for it !

And to @givingtnt 's point, atx tends to have better cooling/airflow potential since the cases are obviously larger and would have more room for better cooling.

I honestly Prefer mITX boards Especially if you only Plan on haveing  GPU

The Asus Maxims Impact is the board im currently using and I love it . its tiny but it packs a punch.  but if you plan on getting more then 16GB of ram or adding a raid card or something to that nature then I would go with a mATX or larger board
