Home Network Q

Hi, I'm planning to build or wire whatever the **** you call it, a home network. Is it possible to have one in complete operation for managing "sharing" with connected devices at home except being connected to the internet? Like would it be possible to do this like in an offline mode like not being connected to the internet? So like instead I wouldn't be able to access it "anywhere" there would be an internet connection, it would just have to be connected at home or a connection to the network.

Okay nvm I found it out, it sounds like I'm going for a server that can go online and offline

So like yea you can. Like it's very possible, any PC that is like connected to the home network can be like a server when you share it's folders, like it doesn't need an internet connection to function.
