Windows 8.1 low performance issue

Hi!

 

My games have very low frame rates on Win8.1, but the problem appear after a while. For example, I'll restart my PC and open CS:GO, I'll have 300fps(capped), then it will freeze and run at half of the tick rate(32 fps), or Payday 2 will run at 7fps at every setting.

 

Specs: Intel i7 4770K 4.4 GHz

            MSI Z87 Mpower

            Corsair Vengeance 8GB

            GeForce 9800GT( I use my PC mainly for rendering, but from times to times I'll play some CS )

            Noctua D14 ( no throttling )

Not gonna say I can help much. But I really think its time to upgrade your gpu

your gpu is definitely the culprit.

I know my GPU is weak, but I played those games just fine on Win7, I was running maxed out P2 with 40-60 fps and now I can't even do 20 fps.
