ubuntu sd card

I was testing to make sure that all of my things worked on ubuntu 14.04. I put in a sd card tested that it recongized it. it did.  But when I took out the card it put it back in the camera it woldn't recongize it. Now I have installed win.7 and that won't read it. I reinstalled ubuntu and now it wont read it either.  How can I get the files off their
