CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo + Socket 1150

I've got an Asus Z97-K and a 212 Evo.

They're fitted and connected, but a screw is wonky as it ONLY just fit in and required HUGE pressure and forceto get into place.

My Pentium G3258 is at 1.3v at 4.6GHz and hits it's TJ max of 72Cafter 10 minutes of Prime95, no problems in actual gameplay and stays at 60C.

My Hyper 212 Evo during the installation never feels like it's on properly because of how much force is required to fit it.

I've taken it off and re fitted it a couple of times, but with the same result and I can rotate the cooler slightly when fully screwed down.

Anyone else experience this at all?

I never had this issue with my 212 EVO. Have you set the screw things that screw from the back in correctly in the correct position?

It's all in the correct position and I followed some online tutorials as well, but it just doesn't feel like it fits due to the amount of force needed to get it on there. Did it take a lot of force for yourself?

I have the same issue with the 212 but it doesn't affect temps as far as I have noticed. Running perfectly fine@4.3Ghz 1.2V on a 4690k.

So don't worry about the slight rotation that can happen BUT what you should worry about is stress testing with Prime 95, try using AIDA 64 or something like that.
