do you trust the temps in realtemp over bios? Bios says I have idle temps of 40c, realtemp says 30c

Can confirm this from my board, also msi. (G55 Rev 2.0 with latest bios) Bios temps are somewhat wrong on msi boards. My previous asus had better readouts in bios.

For the msi it says 36 c° in bios while it says 24 c° in hwinfo. You can savely ignore this stats there. Or msi just don't know how to name things. It has 2 stats, one for system temps and one for cpu temps. While system temps actual shows the same temps for me then the cpu does in hwinfo.

CPUs are not idle when in BIOS. In fact, it fully stresses a single core. So the temp you are seeing in BIOS is actually a temp under load.
