On linus' 1500 build guide he used an adapter for the wiring (not sure if it is the psu or case wires). Does the Storm Scout II Advanced or GS 800 come with it? For what cable will i need it for?

On the vid watch at 23:55 and he talks about a cable for corsair link and later he says he had to get a fan splitter

Link the video and give us the time. Very if, if any of us, know what you're talking about.

Just spent the last 30 minutes watching the 30 minutes where he's not explaining the parts. The only 'adapter' he uses are fan splitters which need to be purchased separately.

That was just a way to hook up the front fans to the cooler's fan controller.  You don't need that splitter to use the case, it's just a convenient way of controlling two fans at once.  Higher end fans usually come with those splitters included (e.g. Noctua fans), but they are by no means necessary for the case to function.

Just plugging the fan cables directly into your motherboard's fan headers will be just fine.

Isopropyl alcohol is all you need for cleaning CPU's and motherboard components.  No, you don't need [insert cleaning solution here].  -Source: PhD Student, Chemistry
