Looking for an audio booster/equalizer program

Hey guys just looking for a program that would equalize audio for different genres of music and stuff. Basic and simple. I've been trying to research but can't seem to find anything. Also a program that can boost audio sound levels to make it louder. I don't like the flat audio i get when i'm listening to bass heavy music.

Use the whatever player you have. Most will allow making user based profiles.

 

I know only one software which can level the volume/gain of tracks. The oldie MP3Gain. But that will be permanent to tracks and isn't necessarily best if you use software like foobar with excellent built-in gain feature.
