I was thinking of putting in white(?) LED strips and I was just wondering the length of strip would be good for the 350D.

Currently looking at these ones: http://www.pccasegea...oducts_id=24037

Ya I am also looking for led lighting but in a uv blue in the same type of strips.

Don't go too crazy with the light. Starts to look pretty noobie once you get the whole machine glowing...

Id stay away from UV leds unless you were a prince or a doctor. Real, "near UV" LED strips cost wayy too much to go into any pc.

Those UV LEDs you can buy.. all nice, sleeved and affordable... No, purple light with a short wave length.

Rant over... Cathodes make a much better uv effect.

30cm for $15? lol. Buy 5m of white LED strip for $8, all it takes is a molex plug and some insulation to finish.

Make it perfect. If you mess up, you still have another 4.5m of LED strip left :P

Where do you get these 5m strips for that cheap? I went on ebay and checked the local electronics store but im better off just buying the 30m ones =\

Also just wonder how I would turn the LED's off once they're installed do I have to get a switch or can that be done somehow on the desktop

The price went up a bit but this is the strip I bought http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005GL5R56/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Very good 3M adhesive.

You can mod a small two-way toggle switch into a pci-e slot cover. Or unplug the molex, much easier and cheaper. Just use one strip on the roof. Won't be too much light but enough to light up the case.

Or if you're real crafty, one on top and bottom. But then you're pretty close to too much light.

For heat shrink, tape. I know heat shrink can get costly.. And everyone should have some random wire laying round. Ask the neighbor for a foot if not.

Oh yeah.. I don't know if you even have an iron.. If you can't barrow an iron, ea it and buy the premade strip. :/
