Hi friends, I'm thinking of buying a Windows Surface 2 Tablet, But i cant afford annthing bigger than the 32gb version.
I've seen people on youtube run Visualstudio 2013 on their Windows Tablet, but im not sure if they had the Pro version with 256gb storage or something smaler?

The Actuall Questions: Can i run Visual Studio 2013 and Steam on a Windows Surface 2 with 32gb?
If so: How much space would Visual Studio 2013 take up?

Unless you have the Surface Pro 2, you'll be using Windows RT (not Windows 7/8) so you wont be able to run Visual Studio on it. Visual Studio Online might be an alternative though but I haven't tried it myself.

I assume Steam and most, if not all, its games also wouldn't be supported on Windows RT. There may be ways around it but again, I haven't tried it myself.

That's Usefull information, My fallback plan so to speak would be to get a Lenovo Miix 2 witha 64 gb ssd,

Says it's running Windows 8.1. Do you beleive i could run Visual Studio 2013 on that? Aswell as Steam?

Not that i think ill be eligable to run alot of games on it.

In addition, Surface 2 is discontinued. Like the Surface 1 and 2 wont' be getting Windows 10, as Windows RT got the axe. However, it will get "Windows 8.2" like update, where it include some Windows 10 GUI level features to it, but that is all.

They are rumors of a Surface Pro Mini to be announced at the same time as the Surface Pro 4 reveal which is rumored to be in June, 1 year after Surface Pro 3, following the release of Windows 10 also rumored to be out in April/May.

Yea, it is a pile of rumors. :)

So you are better off buying a Windows powered tablet.

Since it has Windows 8 then you should be able to install it. I've never tried using it on a tablet before so I'm not sure how well it'll run. Here are the VS2013 system requirements.

Thanks, it does meet the requerments except for the cpu, is only 1.33 ghz and 1.86 ghz burst

(1.6 is requierment) but that should work alright?

I'm not building complex programs yet, all bellow 200 lines of code.

You should be fine even more than 200 lines.

The General experience might not be the most responsive thing ever, but it should work fine, especially if you are plugged in, allowing the CPU to consume more power and therefor goes faster.
