I bult my pc a few years ago now and now i am feeling like i want somthing new. So the question is do i upgrade or a clean slate.

My system spec is as follows.

 

Cpu: AMD Phenom X4 965 Black Edition 3.7 GHz clock

 

Gpu: XFX HD 6870 DD

 

Motherboard: Asus M5A7BL/USB3

 

RAM: 1X Patriot 8GB

 

Storage: 120GB SSD Boot drive, 2 X 2TB in raid 0,

 

Case: Zelman Z9 plus

 

PSU: OCZ 500W DIY sleeved (by me)

 

Think thats everything, So the question is what do i keep what do i replace. i have around £500 to spend . Cant wait to see what you think!

Cheap h81 mobo with an i3 cpu. save up some more and buy a better gpu :)

 

If going to OC, go with a z97 and an i5 4690k.

 

Depends on what you will use your computer for. what res are u playing on? what games?

 

At the moment playing a bit of BF4, Skyrim. on a 1920 x 1080 Res
